Practice Manager and Business Development Manager
Gail isn’t to be messed with! During the British Karate Championships, and only 28-years-old, Gail was awarded a silver medal for Kata and a bronze medal for Kumite. And hubbie is an ex-boxer. We bet that makes for interesting marital spats. No wonder she felt the need to learn about dentistry!
Not content with working, fighting and enjoying being a wife and a mum, Gail has also been a cubscout leader for 5th Mansfield Sea Scouts for the past 15 years and claims to be able to knot, sail, canoe, climb, abseil and make anything out of double sided sticky tape. She was employed by NOVA Centurion County Swim Squad for 14 years and has seen 5 Olympians pass through the squad including Rebecca Adlington, the Hynd brothers, Sam and Ollie, and Charlotte Henshaw.
One of Gail’s biggest aspirations was to play on a grand piano in concert and after a lot of hard work and dedication she did exactly that. Gail is now writing a book but don’t put your deposit down just yet; she’s been hard at it for the last five years and has only got as far as the title.
Gail has worked in dentistry for more than five years. Prior to that, she worked in various roles in several different business sectors, all of which have greatly added to her business experience, skills and knowledge. Gail started her career in accounts before moving on to human resources and people management. Her skills have been further enhanced through voluntary work as a school governor and as non-executive director for a social enterprise, which provides much needed social care to vulnerable adults with mental health needs.
