Invisalign
The original aligner brace for people who want to avoid fixed braces
Invisalign is a simple, ingenious system, designed to straighten teeth. It doesn’t use braces or archwires, but clear plastic aligners, which move your teeth into position.
How does Invisalign work?
Imagine a very thin sports mouthguard made out of clear material that slots over the top of your teeth. Well, that’s what an Invisalign aligner looks like. The difference is, Invisalign aligners are custom-made to your teeth and are designed to guide your teeth into their desired position.
Prepare for great results
Preparation and planning are crucial to the success of Invisalign treatment and at Helix House Orthodontics, we can guarantee you the best of both. When you first come in for Invisalign treatment, we’ll take a virtual 3D model of your teeth. This enables us to plan your treatment and means you can see what your teeth will look like post-treatment.
We’ll use these 3D impressions to have a series of aligners made which match your teeth. You’ll need to change these aligners every two weeks in between appointments to encourage your teeth to straighten. It’s important you wear them for 22 hours a day to get the best results.
Features of Invisalign
- Clear plastic aligners are virtually invisible
- Can be removed for eating, brushing and flossing
- Aligners can be taken out for important events, such as client meetings or family weddings
- Teeth can be cleaned normally after every meal
- Results can be achieved faster than with traditional braces
Why choose Invisalign?
We understand some people simply don’t want to be seen wearing braces. Invisalign is a pure way to achieve this without compromising on results.
